I am going to be so mad if there isn't a U-S-A chant. That chant against Atlanta was the funniest thing I've seen a crowd do in a long time.

Why?? I am from Spain and i've been a Celtics fan for more than 20 years... and the NBA has followers from everywhere in the world. I dont see why there is a need for that USA chant, really

That USA chant is so LAME. All Americans are immigrants. It just makes the people chanting it look ignorant and dumb in my opinion.

I have to say one of the best thing about this site it realizing how many International Celtic fans they really have.  The teams mantra 'ubuntu' is an African saying and like someone mentioned the great thing about the US is that we are all immigrants.  Don't hold the OPs feelings against him.  I'm sure he's part of the younger generation and sometimes it's hard to find anything to find National pride in. So his misplaced opinion is not too hard to understand.  I don't think we'll see a USA chant now 'Kobe is a bed wetter' might be nice.

I just watched game 4 again and I'm looking for a close out victory in LA.

I think we should prepare psychologically for a game 6. The Lakers are out for blood, and they aren't above playing dirty. Pierce's perfect-world scenario (winning a championship on Father's Day in his hometown) makes for a stupendous script and future movie, and I'm all for it! But Paul said it himself, Sunday's game is going to be even tougher to win than Thurday's. LA knows they can't win the series, but they can still save some pride by not losing at home, and I think they're gonna put their eggs in that basket. The Celtics HAD to win game 4 to preserve the lead. Does Boston want to win game 5 more than the Lakers NOT wanting to lose it? Stay tuned! But it wouldn't be so bad if the Celtics won in Boston, The Truth's real home.

Why should Boston focus on humiliating LA? The Celtics have taken the Lakers to school. They play the more spirited game, they make more people happy. Let's see who takes better care of the basketball in the end. The Truth has your back. The champion meets victory on the right day.

I really hope the Celtics play game 5 like it is a game 7.  They need to win in LA because with all the injuries, a long plane trip back would aggravate them and they would struggle in game 6 as they did in game 3.  They need to win this in 5.

 Hold on PC police! I don't think th OP is being malicious in any way by weanting this chant. Don't jump down his throat for finding humor in another teams nationality make up. He's not making fun of someones race/color/nationality but rather finding satire in a fact. What wrong with that chant anyway? If the olympics are held in the U.S. are we not suppossed to cheer the home brewed talent?
