when I look at James Posey, I can't help but think the following thought:

one huge reason why we loved the Posey pickup was because he had a championship pedigree and experience

we're one win away from having a whole team of those guys

most of whom have played a real, significant role in the title drive

Rondo - up and down, but has 16 assists in a Finals game to add to his resume

Perkins - also up and down, but played great defense for most of the games

Eddie House - unearthed from the dead and responded by being a stone cold killer - kinda poetic actually

Leon Powe - game 2, need I say more?

(I may be forgetting someone)

I'm just thrilled to death with these guys

I love the big 3 but Posey is my personal favorite guy on this team!  Every chance he gets to make a great play, he makes.  Aside form the big threes he makes, he'll get you a rebound (he gets sooo many huge 4th quarter boards), gets the loose balls, saves balls from going out of bounds, defense, it goes on with the intangibles, swagger, clutch free throw shooting.  Some people call these the "little things" but watching Posey do them they all add up to a lot of "big things."  I love the love Posey has been getting today, I've been a huge fan of his game since the moment he got here.

Eddie- huge.  Energetc.  Never say die attitude.  Little Eddi must have stayed up late to see his dad play this monster game.

PJ Brown.  Love him on this team, even when I feel like we might need some youthful, athletic legs in there, he always ends up making a huge play.  If he gets a ring his teammates and his fans will be so happy for him.  Quality guy.  Powe is following in his footsteps!

This team is full of quality guys.  Kinda makes it easier to root for them, don't you think?

Ya TP for you Redz!  I love Pruitt.  To me he is a Rondo #2 that can shoot.  I'm sure he needs work on defense - but lets get this guy activated.

Love this forum - love this team.  After watching Kobe - I am so proud of what a team we really are. I hate seeing Cassell on the floor but I am impressed by what a great bench guy he appears to be.  He seems the first up to congratulate eveyrone.  Got to love that.

I mentioned this in a couple of other spots, but Tony Allen had +10 in 2 minutes last night.  He had 1 rebound and no turnovers.  I'm not sure what exactly he did, but he was on the floor at a key juncture and the Celts did well when he was in there.
