I remember an interview with Reggie Miller during the regular season when he said he will regret it not joining the team when the Celtics win the title.... I'm wondering what he thinks of the situation now.... I'm still curious what contributions he would have made for this team...  ::)

If we get Reggie Miller we don't get POSEY.  James Posey has been huge this season and especially during the playoffs.
Boston is the Greatest City in the World !!!

  • Let's Go Celtics
With Reggie you don't know what would've happened.  If we had him instead of Posey you can't tell if we're here in this position.  I know for a fact we don't last night without Big Game James!
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

  • I Love NUMBA 17 !
I can't imagine Miller contributing more to the team then Posey.

Haha   I completely forgot about him.  I think we still would have gotten Posey too.  Reggie Miller probably would have taken the vet. minimum.  He would have just played in TA's minutes in the regular season and I think he would have been very similair to House.  He would have made Eddie play the 1 all season and we probably wouldn't have gotten Sam I am.

I would have loved to have gotten him a ring.

He and Ray Allen in the same team?

It would have been a big mistake.

Not to mention how much I dislike him.

Posey brings all of the things Bullwinkle would have plus he actually plays defense.  I was never for Miller regardless of whether we signed Posey or not.  Thibodeau brought an element of believability that we might really focus on defense.  Miller stopped defending years before he retired.

Trade Miller for Posey and we are not close to where we are.

You guys maybe right.... But as much as I would love Reggie as a clutch player for this team, the possibility of him joining the Celts next year would just be disgusting... One of the reasons why he didn't accept the offer is because of the Celtics' new roster jelling factor... I'm just glad we got Posey though.... :)
