I'm with PP.  Win it in game five on Father's Day, on the Lakers home court, in front of what few Lakers "fans" show up and show the world that the Celtics weren't only the better team, they were a VASTLY better team.

If I could have a dollar for every time I heard some media hack refer to the Lakers as the best team in the NBA, despite the fact that the Celtics had THE BETTER RECORD I would be able to buy a small island somewhere.

I have tickets for game 6, but am actually torn, this thing can be put away sooner, so you have to. Finish them no matter what it takes and wherever. I think it was Wilbon who made a good point late last night, that once it becomes evident who the better team in a series is, it usually doesn't go much longer, and the Celtics are clearly the much better team.

Side note, funny how James Worthy didn't stick around for the post game, he was there at the half and seemed pretty happy.

I'd love it wherever we would be able to win this title...winning this in LA would be more humiliating and satisfying but we shouldn't be greedy, if we lose Game 5, I'll be more than ready to "welcome" the Lakers at the Jungle,at a real jungle, and make them feel what Celtics Pride means!! :)

And he did finish...

I live in Virginia, so I don't really care. I just want them to raise banner 17! I'm kinda torn myself, it would be great if they won it in the house that Red built. On Red's floor. In front of the Celtic fans. It would make the celebration at the end really sweet.

However, I wouldn't mind a game 5 victory in L.A. not only to get the series over with and I can get on with my life, but to also to stick it to the experts who picked the Lakers (some in 5!), stick it to LA fans who were overzealous-ly confident in their Kobe Bryant--Pau Gasol--Lamar Odom team to take them to the promise land. Also for Paul Pierce to win the title six blocks from where he grew up. Also win it in LA to stick it to the "road" critics (who've really been silenced in Game 4). Also win it to stick it to Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson who have nothing but praise for the Lakers and have nothing but over attention to the Lakers.

It's sad that this ABC announcing team has diluted the rivalry to nothing more than a Kobe/Laker fest vs. some Eastern Team which happens to be the Boston Celtics--their greatest rival! So, I guess I wouldn't mind it if we won it in La La Land in front of Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson, Magic Johnson (whom I respect) and Jack Nicholson (whom I also respect as an actor...but not as a Laker fan).

People also worry about our injuries, but I think we would be fine. Rondo will feel much better, Pierce is a beast anyways and Perk will have some extra time to get realigned.

Either way, I don't care, it's not going to 7 games anyway.

Sooner the better, and all the more convincing to the naysayers and their outragous reasons for being nonbelievers!

I don't think it is really a relevant question because it WILL end on Sunday night. The reason. Because the Lakers are going to roll over and play dead like the heartless, wimpy, cowardly dogs that they are.

Just in case though, if they lose Sunday and any of you game 6 ticket holders want to give them up because you're disappointed they didn't win it all in LA, please e-mail me and I'll take those tix off your hands for you.
