Kendrick Perkins left Thursday's Game 4 with a left shoulder strain.
It's possible that he separated his shoulder, leaving his status in doubt for the rest of the this series. We should know more on his status on Friday.

so... PJ Brown for 48 minutes on Sunday then?

lets hope its not as serious as a separation.

Although I usually hate small ball, Posey on Odom is a good matchup. IMO, it's not that big of a deal.

I expect it's that and that he'll be out for the rest of the Finals. I didn't like the look of that from the second it happened.

I'd be worried about it if we lost tonight. 2-2, final three games, without our second best big mam. Lose a lot of our advantages in the paint. But at 3-1 with three chances to take the championship ... not so much.

He'll get his rest over the summer.

.... I think I'm recalling this correctly but didn't Odom play through a seperated shoulder in the Playoffs against Phoenix and put up 20/10 type numbers playing some of his best basketball of the season.

Wait and see what the results are for the big fella.

Better against L.A. than Detroit  I guess.

Is it the same one separated before (when was that - last year?)

Hopefully that's not going to become a chronic thing.
Yup

Hopefully just a strain, or a very, very mild separation where it immediately popped back into place on its own.

Perk said it was just a strain, and he will be fine for Sunday.

He should borrow Garnett's sleeeve.

I'm sure Perk will just snap it back in and he should be ready to go.

  • Anything is possible
If Perk needs a shoulder, he will rip Pau Gasol's off and attach it to his own body.

I believe Perk will play Game 5, but will probably be limited much like Rondo was tonight.

;D, morning giggles
If he continues to have the same shoulder seperate it'll be surgery in the future for him.  If he can't go I think Powe and KG for bigs.  Posey off the bench since he can play sf or pf.  Imagine if we won that ugly game 3 that we could of??

That is the same shoulder (left) which gave him big problems (had to undergo surgery before).

I totally just cackled at work  TP for Perk being tough and funniest comment of the day.
