Playing Eddie House tonight instead of Rondo was the game changer.    The Lakers were confused and kept leaving him as if he was Rondo or Cassell.  They also weren't prepared for Pierce bringing the ball up which destroyed their full court pressure.

He spaced the court, sped up the offense, and hit some HUGE shots.

Rondo was too tentative and just not a threat on offense or defense.

He played great. I was happy to see Sam not come back in the game. He's the caner on the team and the bench is our Kemo for him. House all the way from this game on.
Peace through Tyranny

UNBELIEVABLE.

In a game with more than a few heroes, Eddie House, maligned and buried, gets the call and ANSWERS!

Wow...I'm still reeling....

The energy he brings on the court is unbelievable.

EVERYONE of our bench players is ALWAYS ready to play regardless and THATS why we are about to hang our 17th NBA Cahmpionship banner.

Eddie House & James Posey were so awesome tonight and that late 3 by Posey was one of the sweetest clutch shots I've ever seen.

Awesome move by Ray Ray at the end to ice the game, Vujacic didn't stand a chance against "JESUS".

agreed.

It's really all about the spacing.  ALl of the sudden KG has room to work in the post because the doubling can't commit right away.  That opens up everything else.  Drives for Pierce.  3s for Eddie, Posey, and Ray.

Really remarkable the way it worked out.

I really hope we bring Eddie back next year.  I know a lot of people want a more "true" point guard, but he's been helping like this all year.  Just as amazing effort by steady Eddie in the second half.

yeah, I think the need for a "true" backup point guard will be way lessened after this season anyhow. Rondo will no doubt mature and get better and we'll really have less of a need at the position. Plus eddie house is a GREAT guy in terms of chemistry and bench leadership. He is always the first guy off the bench waving a towel, jumping up and down and hollering.

Agreed.  House was terrific off that bench.  And so was Posey.  But House and his ability to shoot really screwed up the Laker defense.  It's amazing how much better the offense runs when you have guys on the floor who can hit the outside shot.  You can just see it during the game, the Lakers were scared to collapse inside once House and Posey had established their games.

Eddie was awesome but the game changer was the entire bench, Eddie included. Posey was Big Game and hit huge three after huge three. PJ's importance to this team will never be seen by looking at a box score. Leon was so huge in giving KG a breather and yet remaining productive it's not funny.

Everyone said the Laker bench was going to be the deciding factor in this series and the Celtic bench must have had this stuff posted all over the lockerroom.

Well, I still want them to bring in another backup PG, however, I want them to bring back House also.  Especially if they can find a bigger backup PG, who can guard the 2, and play next to House, who can be great as a backup SG.

this game reminds me of the CELTS Texas-Triangle against the Spurs.

Eddie House made clutch shots during that comeback and one of the best regular season game.

Eddie House rocks..
