Just to elaborate, and appreciate Allen, here were his stats coming into tonight in the finals (games 1-3)

20.3 pts, 5 boards, 3 assts, .514 from the field, .526 from 3

add to that his 19 pts, 9 boards, 2 assts, 6-11 shooting with 2-6 on 3's

He's been playing a very consistent all-star level all series,
and he's been attacking the hoop again, which is just great to see

Sasha looked like a lost child at the mall after that play.  He also took a swing at a water boy on the bench.

Be honest.  If you'd been had as badly you'd be p---ed too.  Ray earned that money and I was really pleased to see his gutsy performance tonight after seeing those "Trade Ray" topics.

I love Ray's final play.

I can just imagine the Laker locker room between him and Kobe.

So happy for Ray. A tremendous game tonight. Those two layups were huge. Beautiful, and huge.

I loved that he waved off KG on that final play.

The degree of difficulty on his reverse layup was about a 9.9.  He faked the 1 hand dunk on Gasol, hung in the air, and flipped it up at the last second before Odom could time the block.

MVP for Ray would be pretty sweet, considering he was pretty much the third fiddle all year, and at points in this years playoffs looked to be a big time goat.

Should the Celtics be so fortunate to win this series, we're going to look back at a lot of plays from this one and game one. Tonight Ray had 3 great drives in the clutch, but the clearout was just a thing of beauty.

Yup

I love Ray, man.  This series is going to help all those "Ray is having a terrible year" posters realize how much of a contribution he makes to this team.

I didn't notice his numbers yet. He only took three shots in the second half (made all three), none from three point range and he scored 10 points out of those shots (free throws). Added 7 rebounds in the second half too I think. Three shots ... huh

Ray Allen struggled in the playoffs and he took a lot of heat from a lot of Celtic fans and asked for his trading. But not me, I've always believed in him and I said to everyone "He's coming back and when he does, teams better watch out!" He puts on the sleeve and he's back!!! Now he's probably more feared now than he ever was. KG's coming back and the Truth woke up! Powe's a monster and Posey is just TOO MUCH!!! Welcome back Eddie! P.J. is a beast and he's 38!!! Are the Lakers scared of everyone now? I would be if I were them.

I've always loved Ray Ray even before he became one of us. Now that he's one of us, he belongs to be mentioned with the legends. Thank you Ray Allen and the Celtics never gave up hope on you!!!!

Even the possibility of an Allen Finals MVP is so sweet. His offensive rebound with 3 and a half minutes to play and the reverse lay up that followed were phenomenal plays.

48 minutes!

I own one Jersey from this version of the Celtics: Ray Allen.
Love him. Always have. Struggling or not. He is still Jesus Shuttlesworth to me.

Best four words so far this season:
Ray Allen For Three!

Best four words I am waiting for:
The Celtics Win Seventeen!
Bleeding green for 36 37 years.

SHHHHHHH....  We are in a no jinx zone.  There will be no MVP talk.
