Watching Game Three, Van Gundy mad an interesting proposal that I am very intrigued with.  He mentioned.  Putting out a line up of R. Allen(pg), Posey, Pierce, Ticket, Perkins/Brown. I was thinking what a great idea. Kobe can't play off Allen and it would  cause him to expend tremendous amounts of energy on defense.  Allen is smooth enough to run the offense.  At some point in the game I think it would be a great mix up of the rotation.  What do you think?

If Rondo isn't playing, I think it would be a great idea to try that lineup.  Even if Rondo is playing, but the Lakers are playing way off of him, then they might want to try that anyways.

The only problem with that lineup is that it could lead to stagnant offense without someone to break the defense down, and penetrate other than Pierce (and they can take the ball out of his hands by doubling him)...but since House and Cassell haven't been doing much of that anyways, you might as well go with a lineup like this to get your best players on the floor.

I think the extra length in the lineup would help contain Kobe and Gasol.  Don't forget Tony Allen.  He could chase Vujacic around.  Mix up the lineup.  Keep Dr. Phil guessing.

Sounds good to me.  Might be a nice crunch time lineup.  I'm sure he's told his buddy Doc.

And, if I have to hear Van Gundy say one more time that there's no scorers in the game when PP and KG are sitting I'm gonna puke.

I think this C's team for being in the finals, leading the league in D and having 66 wins has GOT TO BE THE LEAST RESPECTED TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF THIS LEAGUE.

Great idea. LA's small point guards can't guard Ray or Posey. It'll spread the floor and allow KG to go to the post (please KG!). Ray can bring the ball up well enough (if not, that's what picks are for)

What if Van Gundy's right? Ray Allen? His shot has been a lot better sure, but he can't create his own shot the way Pierce and Garnett can. Rondo? Nope. Cassell? Nope. House? Posey? Powe? PJ? I don't see any legit scorers there. Now if Ray could play like he could a couple years ago..
