At 5:09 PM eastern time, Bill Plascke admitted that the Lakers look bad. He also said that he expects the Celtics to win the series. He announced this on Around the Horn. How bout that?

Well if Plascke admits the Lakers look bad then the world is probably coming down around them. Dude's probably a bigger homer than Tommy.

I forgot to mention how satisfying his admission was for me-- the way he looked... it was.... piqued. like he had a fever and was sick to his stomach. He probably was, actually. After predicting Lakers in 5, I'm sure he's feeling the heat.

Maybe he's doing the reverse jinx like Bill Simmons?

I don't want to get too cocky about the series, because Gasol and Odom could play like allstars at any time and surprise us.... they both do have the skills.  But as long as the Celtics defense shows up, the Cs should win.

Funny, he looks like an idiot either way. He started off with the garbage about Pierce, picks LA, and then changes his mind after game 3? It's 2-1 and still anyone's series. Of course I think Boston is the better team, but now he just looks like an idiot regardless of who wins. Color me amused. ;)

Bill Plascke is a bahfoon. He's gonna be on Weei's mid-day show ( Dale & Holley ) . I hope they rip him a new one. Holley feels that Plascke is a friend of his so he'll probably throw softballs at him, Dale might ask him a few tough Q's though. I wish Plascke was going on the Big Show , they'd kill him. I have little to no respect for 75 percent of sports writers , and commentators. Everyone of them picked the Lakers because they sweat Kobe , and because they hate Boston. Boob Ryan is another one I've lost respect for. GO CELTICS !!!!

just keep in mind, everyone...
the only series that they actually picked us to win was the atlanta series...
and they're never wrong. even when their pick proves to be inaccurate, they come up with some ridiculous excuse as to why their infinite wisdom wasn't as wise as it turned out to be....

  • Basketball is like chess, only without the dice
Hope he's only trying the reverse jinx thing. He doesn't look the most brilliant basketball analyst out there. If he's picking the C's now, I feel like our chances are decreasing.
