Docs substitution pattern for big men seems to be put in PJ for Perk, ride that for a few minutes and then substitute Powe for Garnett to give him a rest. I understand putting in PJ-- he's been solid and is experienced. I think it might also be effective to put Powe on the floor with KG. KG is going to demand much more attention from Laker D than PJ. This could give Leon the opportunity to do what he did in game 2-- single coverage on the block from either Walton or Turiaf. That is a matchup that favors Leon and he can do damage. Leon seems to only get on the floor with PJ and a backup point guard. I'd love to see Doc put Leon in situations where he can be an X-factor and that's harder to do when he is often one of the top scoring options on the floor. Imagine Leon being perceived as the 4th or 5th best scoring option on the floor. With his knack for the hoop, those situations could really be exploited.
