Tonight's a homecoming for Pierce as we all know. I know that Pierce has played great in LA over the years, but tonight could go one of two ways. Pierce could actually get too pumped up in his hometown and take some wild shots, or he will continue his torching of LA. I know one of these games he is going to go off for a 35+ game and I think it will happen tonight .

 38pts ,6 rebs ,6 ast,  44% fg's

I don't really care.  Kobe needs to be the hero...Pierce just needs to be on a winning team.

I predict efficient basketball that involves an entire team and leads to a win.  Whatever that means in numbers, so be it.

That'd be sweet!  Do you think he'd have a shot at series MVP if that happened?   Would the Celts cover on their 9 point underdog spread?

Yup

I'll predict Paul matches "The Moba"  ;) but with better 3pt efficentcy as well as more FTs on his unstoppable drives to the hoop, which should again put the Lakers in foul trouble   8)

I'll also perdict "The Moba"  ;) gets fouled HARD going to the rack early keeping him primarily a 2pt jumpshooter, all of which is why paul will match his total points  ;)

I predict he has a horrible game tonight, as well as the rest of the series. I don't know if the Celtics as a whole can play as weel in L.A. as they did in Boston.

I'll go with this. 8)

  • The good ole days.
18 points, 7 boards, 5 assists

(Okay, I'm kinda hopin' for a big game from KG... he's my boy.)

But honestly, all that matters is getting up 3-0.

Guess we should have gone with the "under" on the Pierce 82 point game prediction.  :(

PP's lift has not been the same since the knee injury.  It's time to shift to another gear before the injury really becomes an issue(i.e. need to close a game and find out that our best closer -PP - can't get his own shot due to a knee injury).
