I feel pretty good about this game in the second half with Pierce is going 0-6 and KG  going 1-9 and we're only down by 6 at the half. Paul is going to come out on fire as well as K.G., Bet!

Ray is keeping us in this one, and I wouldn't mind seeing House for the three ball spread the floor and his energy; C'mon DOC, Geeze...

The strategy to stay cool is actually a good plan in our situation, but I don´t know if this team can handle this whole "no emotion" stuff. I mean, it´s obvious to me that Doc gave the general direction to behave cool and not overreact because he expected a lot of bad calls against us.

Anyway, I would love to see Eddie House in the game. I`m normally not so high on Eddie, but our team appears like a big gas bubble, and Eddie could be the lighter to let this whole thing explode.

The game is still open, the Lakers were up in Game 1 after the first half, and the good guys still won. Only one of Pierce or KG needs to step up, and we can win this one.

I actually made it threw the Kobe halftime show. Funny hearing him talk about family and stuff like that. Is he buying his wife a big rock every year to show love?

i live in knoxville so i don't always get the day-to-day details on the Celtics.

could someone please explain to me what Doc has against Eddie House. it seems to go beyond simply the one game at Detroit when he had trouble getting the ball up the court.

Does anyone else find it absolutely amazing that we can play so horribly and only be down by 6 points?!? We don't even have to play well to beat this team ... just average! That said, I hope Doc lights a fire under their butts ... they scored less than my Junior High team averages in that first half, (seriously) ... terrible shooting and offense ... truly terrible. Honestly, KG and Pierce should be ashamed ... this is what they've worked for their whole careers, and to come out and play like that in the NBA Finals, is truly sad ... and discouraging. Where is the heart that this team has showed so many times this year? Where's the fire and the determination? Wake up, boys ... now's the time!

It's a mystery.  It could be that Eddie griped to the press in the first round, it could be because he and Doc had words in the Detroit series.  Or, it could be that Sam is constantly kissing Doc's butt and lobbying for time, and Doc has been completely snowed.

Whatever the reason, it's disgusting.

Why Eddie doesn't get to play- no one but Doc knows.  We can guess that Doc and Sam have an old school point guard love thing going on.  Eddie has been pushed out.  It is to bad.  I was all for Sam coming in, however it has turned out poorly.  When he's hot, he's hot.  But he has been shooting terribly.  Eddie deserves a chance.  Whether he gets one or not, we shall see.

Wake up KG and Paul and let's steal this thing. Despite everything thats in the negative side of the ledger this game: FTAs, KG's poor shooting, Paul's poor shooting, Kobe's strong play, the fact that we can't get a call and some poor decision making its only a six point deficit.

Let's go Celtics, Let's go!!!
