Why the panic? Sure, this could end ugly, could even be a blowout win by the Fakers...but right now the Lakers look like crap and Boston is still not out of it. Hard to complain about that scenario right now. We knew The Fakers would get some calls tonight and we probably wouldn't.

Lots of time, lots of hope.

Walton is making so many mistakes all over the court in the Finals. Celtics are a really bad matchup for him. He's becoming very hesitant on his shots, keeps passing up easier looks.

What ever happened to "Paul Pierce plays excellent in L.A.?"

When Pierce is going 0-6 and KG is going 1-9, not too many games you're gonna win.  Especially when the bench of the opposing team is actually making shots this game.  Slowly but surely the Lakers are pulling away.  At least try and make it respectable by the half boys.

Anyone on this board who thought the C's had any chance to win tonight really was not thinking clearly.  We are now at 20-2 in free thow attempts.  I know, the ABC announcers are telling us that it is a coincidence and is because the Lakers are playing much harder.  This league is so corrupt it is sickening.

Well we've all seen this kind of a game coming.  The sad part is so far it's there for the taking in spite of the refs.  We're not bringing it in a Game 3 with a chance to pretty much finish the series, nothing new.  Still time though.

i live in knoxville so i don't always get the day-to-day details on the Celtics.

could someone please explain to me what Doc has against Eddie House. it seems to go beyond simply the one game at Detroit when he had trouble getting the ball up the court (so did Sam that game).

what the hell is Doc's problem with Eddie ??

Well as any of us can probably tell, it is going to be a long night and I would be shocked if the Celtics won. The refs are already calling every ticky tack foul on the Celtics while I have already witnessed a couple of mugging on the Celtic side with no call. We are in for a long night of listening to the announcers (edited for our young posters) Kobe Bryant tonight.
