I guarantee we will hear more about the Lakers cutting the lead in the 4th quarter then anything. They will spin it and say the Lakers take more positives out of this game then the celtics do . They wont talk about how Boston completely dominated the game, the will talk about just a bunch of lucky 3's the lakers made at the end when our guard was down and how now at home they will win 3 games in a row.

But thats ok Celtics are up 2-0 and thats all that matters. We AREN'T losing 3 games in a row in LA.

I don't think so.  I think it's time for the media to turn their backs on the Lakers.

Absolutley. Of course I'm very happy that the Celtics are up 2-0, but I'm a little disappointed that the Celts horrible 4th quarter will over-shadow the rest of their great game prior to that.

But whatever, we get no media love anyways...

ESPN NEWS is already calling this the Lakers game -- building what they need to win the series.

I don't know who the woman who's leading the ESPN NEWS desk, but she's even wearing purple!!!

Spin wins elections, not ball games.

Skip Bayless will definately spin it on first and 10. He will say that this is why he doesn't trust the Celtics because he think we are mentally weak. He does this everytime. It just so happens he picked Cleveland over Boston, Detroit over Boston and the Spurs over the Lakers in this postseason. He is a grade A IDIOT.

Doc really needs someone to tell him that Ray guards Kobe better than anyone.  I think Kobe has 75% of his points on Posey.  And Posey doesn't make him work at all on D.

Yeah, you're most likely correct.  At the very least our buddies Plaschke and Adande will.

Bottom line results from tonight:

Lakers: Lose but get a moral victory

Celtics: Win the game and learn a valuable, valuable lesson (again!)

I love that we don't have the high of blowing the Lakers out as we take the long flight out there.  We got smacked in the mouth pretty hard at the end, take advantage of the lessons we learned tonight.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

It's because they are still alive.

And they're alive because we quit playing in the fourth quarter. Quit moving the ball, quit attacking the rim, quit rebounding and quit defending. Inexcusable lack of focus at the end of the game.

If you are a Lakers player you have to try and bring something away from it. What worries me is the confidence that Farmar, Radmanovich, and the guy that looks like a 12 year old girl will come away with.

If the media wants to use that slant on this game to try and make this series interesting for the viewers who are not Lakers or Celtics fans then that is understandable. Remember their job is to get ratings. If this series appears over then that doesn't happen.

Yup, first game was "feeling each other out" (Phil, Kobe), second game was building the momentum Lakers wanted..... I guess the Lakers got us right where they want us....  ??? ???

In truth, though (pun intended  ;D ), Celtics still need to learn to play 48 minutes.  This was a problem in Game 1, was clearly a problem in Game 2, and I hope is not a problem in Game 3.....
Celtics fan for life.

Celtics up 2-0. They can spin it all they want Celtics need 2 wins Lakers need a hefty 4 wins. I don't think this is going to effect future games. It only would have had the Lakers won.
