Villa gets injured and Aragones still takes of Torres. I'm flabbergasted at that decision. What's he thinking? He's allowing Russia to find a way back into the game.

It'll be interesting to see how well Spain's midfield can hold onto the ball because if they don't do a brilliant job they'll be under fierce pressure for the final 20 minutes.

amazing finish by spain to that attack, bring on Germany.

this tournament has been awful on a free time level for me, its fully reignited my football manager 2006 addiction. so long outside world, ive got a D2 premier league team to take to the top!

Well, that´s it.

Spain - Germany in the finals. Let´s hope they install a backup system in case there´s another lightning storm.

The consensus in Germany was that we would lose against Russia, but win against Spain, so that´s the result most people here wanted to see.

Both teams are mainly offensive teams, which will help the german system to shine. They had the biggest problems against Croatia and Turkey, teams that play an destructive game with a deep defense.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Yeah, I just started my manager 2008 campaign. Bought the game and never played it, but the euro made me want to play. I´m only on Celticsblog because my computer crashed, and I didn`t save the game^^

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
Victory shall be claimed on Sunday, Spain is good, but German efficiency will shine, and Spain will undoubtedly collapse as usual.

Who's the favourite now? Germany or Spain?

i still say germany. the performance against germany was a wake-up call and i believe they'll have their heads screwed on on sunday and beat spain.

Something`s wrong here ?  ;D

Between talent and efficiency i`d go with talent. Spain didn`t mess it so far as expected, i don`t think they`ll do it at the final. Becides i`ve placed my money on them since the start of the tournament. I`m a little biased  ;D

Villa is out for the Final. That'll hurt Spain's attack.

Wonder how Aragones will change up?

Fabregas has to start in the final. Maybe a straight swap and play 5 in midfield.

I think Spain is gonna play with Torres alone in forward position, Iniesta behind him and Cazorla in the wing instead of Iniesta. Aragones do it before with great results. Cesc would other option sure.

I too would be surprised if Aragones start Guitha in the place of Villia. So far Sena has been excellent and this has allowed Xavi & Iniesta to play closer to the striker(s). Spain`s first goal is an example.

Ballack needs to wake up and play some football.

Senna has been superb. Best defensive midfielder in the tournament.
