I do not believe this link was posted but here it is

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/bryant-boston-pierce-2062767-game-celtics

Kobe now says that it is the inside information that our D coach has on him that gives us a huge advantage...Wow, only one game that we won, and every excuse is flying out of Southern California...Gasol it too soft, rims are different, refs favor the Celts, Our D Coach knows Kobe

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses....

Call me crazy but if a coach knows a player so well, does it not follow that the player should also know that coaches tendencies just as well?

I love it all though..One Win for Us and the Sky is already falling for them.....

Win again tonight, and watch for the Excusemeter to go through the roof.....I cannot wait for the next batch of excuses later on after we do win the game...room service was bad, food poison, water was laced with laxatives, the smoke before tip off was laced with a special anti-laker chemical...Gasol is still soft..but wow his shot is pretty....KG is too intense! PP replaced his injured knee with a bionic one....etc....

Go Celtics and Laker Fans...Keep those Excuses, Excuses, Excuses coming...

The NBA...Where Excuses Happen by Laker Fans, Laker Players and Laker Coaches

Any Predictions on Future Excuses coming out of LA?

It is shocking to me how mentally weak that team is.  Phil Jackson is far from a "Zen Master"; his teams have won in the past due to 1) amazing talent and 2) leadership from the players.  He certainly isn't doing anything to calm down his locker room right now.

I hope we control him again! I cannot wait to hear all of the excuses if the Lakers do not win the series. I can see him blaming Gasol, Odom and everyone else. I don't want to get ahead of ourselves.

That's...  beyond absurd.  How many coaches does the typical NBA play for in their lives?  How about just once they're reached the NBA?  You'd think, too, that Kobe Bryant has picked up a trick or two since he was 14 years old...   ::)

Maybe he was just afriad of looking bad in front of his old coach, so he pressed and missed all of those bunnies...  ::)

(incidentally, at what point can we change Kobe's nickname from "Black Mamba" to "Elmer Fudd"?  You know, all those bunnies he's missing...)

Did anyone hear Kobe dis Gasol at his press conference yesterday? LOL  He said that if a person was to run into Gasol or Perk, they would run in Gasol's direction, implying that Gasol is soft and they wouldn't want anything to do with Perk. Why in the world would he say that about his teammate, a guy that he is counting on in this playoff run? :o  I'm loving it though. ;D

Again, I didn't take this as Kobe using it as an excuse.  It sounded much more like he was halfway joking, and complimenting Thibodeau.

Completely agree with you. It's the usual nitpicking of articles and quotes. Seems like they stop reading and don't read the rest of the article:

Quote
"I've been facing his defenses here for some time, and they're tough – very, very tough.  Every single team he has been on has had great strategies and physical defense. He's awesome."

Chris, get caught up in the rabid Kobe bashing.  It's fun, and I'm guessing good for the soul, as well. ;)

Kobe is a weasel.  Any opportunity to take a shot at him is a good one.

I also have to agree with this too... but we have soooo many legit reasons to bash Kobe, why surface a bogus one?

EXACTLY!  Anything we can do to p--- him off and make sure he stays in gunslinger mode.  I fully expect Kobe to go off for 40pts on 35 shots one of these nights.

Of course Phil isn't doing anything. He's too busy smoking his "zen." Jackson is seriously beyond overrated, in my opinion.

meh our defensive coach can't be that effective against Kobe... we were giving him "bunnies" all night.  Haven't you heard?  Kobe's foaming at the mouth at the thought of getting those "bunnies" again.

This is awesome! The Celtics seem to be in the Lakers heads!  8) Garnett should take it at Gasol in every opportunity he has tonight. Try to blow them off the court and make Kobe call out his best player (again? lol) besides him on his team then they'll be fighting, lose control, and be off their game! haha.  ;D
