I was curious how many people are going to Game 2 tonight?! What is the general consensus? I really feel that if the C's take tonights game they will not be back here again! I am rooting for Paul to have a great series, because even though individual awards don't mean much, I want to see OUR CAPTAIN recognized for the great player he is in this series!

I still think the Lakers are too soft to hang with the Celtics.

Have fun tonight...

not going unfortunately...but just an observation or 2 on our fandom... last few days I've been out and about (Boston yesterday, Rockport today) and definitely noticed more and more celtics t shirts on people - lots of beat LA shirts, which is cool, though may be a good sign of hitching up to the bandwagon.  Despite this, its nowhere near as much as when the sox are in the playoffs (I teach too, and you'll see 40-50% of the kids with sox stuff on in the mlb playoffs, I'd say 5-10% right now with the c's) - just kind of interesting, have others noticed a rise in green around town?

I have noticed the same thing. I know some people have hitched on, but in my mind that is ok. I like when Boston gets reved up. I was just at the Garden picking up some new shirts myself. I looked to see if the box office had any tickets, but got shut down. Bummer! I guess HD will have to do!

Yeah. A lot of green going around. I see kids that don't even know who Rajon Rondo is walking around with Celtics jerseys.

Our very own Steve Weinman will be at the game.  Hopefully he gives us a firsthand report of a hard fought Celtics victory in his next offering of the Babble.

yeah in many ways Boston is the best sports town and worst sports town at different times..when times are good, the place is rockin, when things go south so do the fans (and I mean the average fan here) - Red Sox nation may be an exception to this, but we see it definitely with the c's, even the bruins were getting a tiny bit of attention this year in the playoffs
