All eyes will be on Paul Pierce tonight as the Celtics try to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the finals.

While word leaked out of yesterday's practice that Paul may have a tear in his meniscus,  as reported by Bill Doyle in this morning's Worcester Telegram .

Pierce may have a tear in his meniscus. An MRI would show that, but Pierce continues to refuse to undergo one.

His condition has improved and did run through some 3 on 3 drills yesterday. Both Pierce & Perkins (high ankle sprain, will try to play, as noted by Scott Souza in today's Metro West.

During the half hour of practice open to the media, Pierce gingerly stretched his knee under a bandage and heavy black brace. He took part in the opening stretching exercises and a half-court, three-on-three drill before retiring to the sideline to ride a stationary bike. Though Rivers said before the workout that Perkins would not practice, he did give it that abbreviated try.

"If we played (yesterday), could either one of them have played?" Rivers offered. "It would be dicey."

While on the court yesterday, Pierce moved fairly well and seemed to be spending most of the time getting used to all the extra padding on the knee. He said he's hoping that when he gets out on the court tonight he can get the knee loose and his adrenaline will take over from there.

On the Laker's side, Lamar Odom was held out of practice, but would not reveal his injury.

We will be monitoring the situations and will have a pre game report from the locker room.

We hope you will join us.
