A great role model for younger generation.  Smoke two packs a day and still play in the NBA!  This is so Eastern European for someone being a sports hero and then smoke heavily.

he couldn't play defense for a lick, but he was a solid low-post scorer and a very good rebounder.  didn't have lateral movement, but his flaws were minimal.

i kinda liked the guy...he was a second round steal.  the way scouting is today, he would have NEVER slid that far in the draft.  another coup by Red and Volk.

Dino was awesome... I remember when he played on that Croation national team with Toni Kukoc / Drazen Petrovic. He definitely held his own against the original 92 Dream Team matching up against Barkley, I believe Barkley and him exchanged Jerseys or something like that.  He was a baller I still cant believe he didnt last any longer.

I have a Dino jersey. I loved watching him. I also have a Starting Line-up action figure. I was bummed when Pitino cut him saying that this isn't Club Med.

after the whole failed trade to Philly thing, didn't Pitino promise Michael Cage would be in a Celtics uniform...I'm really amazed no other team gave him a shot after his release, if you can put up 20/10 in the league there should be a home for you

On a sidenote, I remember after that deal initially went through how I traded for spoon and cage on NBA Live (was it 99?) on my SNES I believe (coulda been 64, times get fuzzy) and then how dissapointed I was that I had to make the deal back - but yeah Dino was a fun guy to have around
