I'm definitely concerned about Sunday ... and every game, and I hope the Celtics are as well. I think people are a little too pumped and optimistic about our win last night, and I get this feeling that many here feel the championship's as good as won. Unfortunately, we didn't play that well last night, or win by what I would call a convincing advantage. There's a long way to go in this thing, and Thursday night's game was far too close, and much too much of a struggle, considering how poorly the Lakers played.
Don't expect them to struggle like that in every game, or Kobe to not have a huge scoring impact ... there's a good chance it will happen, and more than once. The best thing about that, is that we played far from our best game as well, and I think we'll be more consistent and play tougher defense now that the early "jitters" are gone and the kinks worked out. Sunday would be the game I'd really want if I were the Lakers, and the Celtics have got to play their best. Kobe loves to "bounce back" in a big way, and the Boyz have got to prevent LA from stealing one.
