Definitely ... I've been going through "Hoops Withdrawal" since Detroit. Truly sucks that Basketball season will be over at the end of this, then 4 months of waiting. Thank God for the Red Sox and Pats ... though now that Papi's out, the Sox will not be as much fun to watch!

This is a terrible move the NBA does.


They kill their own product. 



Sure they will have the Celtics, Lakers and hard core fans there. 


But they lost the casual fan that was watching the conference finals. 


The NBA is not the NFL.  They do not build up excitement with a lot of days off.

it stinks having the time off, but i dont mind for two reasons:

1.  gives our boys some needed rest

2.  it allows me to catch up on some sleep with these late starts.  especially the home games, where i have tix for all of.  im not complaining, i am truly fortunately and thankful i have gone/will go to all the games, but the late finish and having to get up for work is tough.

NBA Playoffs: 2 months
