1. Got to go to Garnett even more, as Gasol can't guard him, and will wear out.
2. Pierce needs to let the offense come to him, and work on the other parts of the game. He is forcing too much, the Lakers are really doing a good job keying up on him.
3.  Ray Allen should take the open 3 point shot every time.
4. We need to do a better job on the pick and role defense.
5. Lakers' passing is very good.  They are a very good offensive team. Give them credit. This will be no cake walk.

Where was Perkins this 1st half?

I just don't like the fact that everyone is established ofr the Lakers except Kobe.

Overall, this team is not playing as strong as the Lakers. There has to be another gear that the Celtics have.
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

We played a pretty good game

The third foul on P2 has really hurt us.

I am confident that they can turn it around in the second half.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I agree! How many times did Ray pass up an open 3 just to have posey take a 3. I would rather have ray take those.

Well I don't think that defense could get too, too much worse.

The defensive intensity fell apart as soon as Paul Pierce left the game late in the second quarter. Didn't LA make a 7-0 run in the first quarter when Pierce went out too?

There's such a big drop off between Pierce and Posey defensively right now. Posey has got to pick it up, he's a better defender than he's been showing.

I really hope Kobe puts up a huge clunker in the 4th quarter tonight.  I'm sick and tired of every single analyst and basketball "expert" assuming that Kobe is going to go off in the 4th if the game is close.

They're not giving the best defensive team in the nba (yes, I know we didn't look like it at all in that first half) any credit whatsoever.

Rivers should try Powe or Davis...Perk is a bad match up defensively and does'nt offer much on offensive for Garnett to pass to out of the triple teams he is seeing..

Call a few defensive 3 seconds on the Lakers
See, this is why I'm not allowed to announce NBA games -- I'd be talking in the Cookie Monster voice right now:

The key for the second half is Paul Pierce. If the current trend continues through the rest of the game, then this baby may well be in the hundreds, so we're going to need Paul to start getting into a rhythm. KG and Ray are playing excellent games so far, and if we can get Paul into it then we might just be able to outscore the Lakers.
