Espn analysts are all for the lakers in the finals and are simply speculating on which team from the east would give them a tougher matchup. The celtics matchup with them extremely well except for the Kobe/Ray matchup. I think Perk will be able to outrebound Gasol and defend him well. Gasol has absolutely no athleticism and Perk has been matching up with taller players throughout the playoffs. Odom will get some boards but offensively he has not been that big of a factor. Their Euro players have played all right, nothing too special. Rondo should be used to playing against bigger guards and Fisher has not put up big numbers this postseason. I think im more worried about the Celts being outcoached by Phil then anything else. If we are able to shut down Kobe to some extent, I like our chances.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Does anyone here remember the Red Sox painting the World Series logo on the Fenway turf in 2003 before the ALCS was even over?

Let's not go here until after our next win this season.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Why just compare them to the Lakers...why not a matchup comparison to the 1972 Dolphins?  That worked pretty well for Bill Simmons.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Gasol can run from one end of the court to the other but I would not consider that to be very athletic. He does not even jump when he dunks or rebounds lol. His vertical has got to be under 18''. I would call "Birdman" Anderson from New orleans athletic, Gasol on the other hand is not.
