Like others have said, I don't usually take pleasure in someone's injuries, and I gave him the benefit of the doubt until I saw the replay. Then I thought "good for him." Dude is a dirty player, a flopper and a drama queen. He's probably faking and trying to get people to feel sorry for him though, so I wouldn't hold my breath about getting rid of him for Friday.

I was dying when he got "poked in the eye," then hunched over like the play was supposed to stop because he got hurt. Then a minute later he was fine. Pull your skirt up, "Rip." He's faking the arm thing too. If anything, Walter should've been the one claiming injury, since Hamilton just about strangled him on the play. Scumbag.

Words are xray's negative. But you never know with this guy.

For those who didn't see what happened, (I only saw it once on tele watching the game so I hope I'm accurate), but what I saw was pretty much him and Ray Allen getting tangled up, but Rip's locked Ray in what I consider a half-headlock/choke, which is pretty dirty. And Ray probably tried to throw Rip off him when the ball goes back the other way and Rip was just down in backplay holding his shooting elbow.

I know we're not supposed to wish injury on anybody, but if he *did* injure his arm severely enough so he couldn't play, it's be a perfect case of karma.  I don't want it to effect his career, but if he's out for the rest of these playoffs (hopefully, just one more game) I'll be very content with it.

Rip is a dirty player and nobody talks about it.  I seen the play and once again he was trying to be dirty and this time his arm got caught.  I never wish for anyone to get hurt but if your willing to grad, hold and put your arm in places it should not be you open yourself up to get hurt.

I never realized how dirty of a player Hamilton was until watching this series. He had Ray in a choke hold when he hurt his arm. It's unbelievable that the refs let him get away with it all. He makes me sick. He has zero class as a player. I seriously hope he's hurt.

Rip looked, to me, to be in a lot of pain last night as he left the game.

Even if he's able to play he probably will have a hard time shooting.

Is this wishful thinking on my part. Yes, partially. I wouldn't mind at all if he can't play or is ineffective. Don't give me any crap about "we don't want any excuses." I'll take a W anyway I can-it's part of the game. Nobody cared when a 68 win Celtic team in 1973 played the last 3 games of the ECF vs the Knicks with a 1 armed John Havlicek (separated right shoulder).

The Celts have to be prepared to face a 3 guard offense with Prince at PF. If the Celts are going to dominate the boards anyway this might be their best bet. Without Rip, it won't be as effective.

I think a clear coaching stategy of Doc's should beto send BBD out and grab Hamilton's elbow and twist it during a couple of screens and to then turn around and start a yelling and pushing match with Rasheed.

Hamilton will rehurt the elbow and Wallace will pick up his 7 technical and be suspended for the next game. Therefore, if the Celtics pull another mail-it-in-on-the-road performance and lose, Wallace will be suspended for game 7 and Hamilton will be too hurt to play.

When Hamilton was interviewed after the last Detroit win, he wiped some sweat from his face and I was shocked by the length of his fingernails.  They looked like claws or like the local grocery store checkout girl, only hers are painted a sparkly pink.  No wonder everyone who plays against him bleeds.  They should test Ray Allen for rabies, just in case.
