Leon Powe needs to get some minutes tonight

I want to see Leon in the game tonight, I think he would provide a great spark to the team tonight. You know he is chomping at the bit to get some playing time and in front of the home crowd his hustle plays and offensive rebounding could definitely get the team and the crowd going. I think he is good for a solid 8pts and 5rebs and hustle plays if he gets in this game.

Powe may get minutes, but I think Doc generally prefers BBD against Detroit and I think he may get the nod first.  But you never know, Powe got some time in game 1 and Doc may like what Leon brings in the home venue.  

Being one who believes that Doc actually knows his players and matchups better than I do, I'll commit the prime CBlog faux pas by deferring to his judgment.

I'm with you... I don't think we'll see much of them in this series, if at all. Davis will probably get the nod first though. If we go to the finals, they'll get a chance once again to perform early in the series.  A team with poor defense like LA (I think the Spurs are done) can probably let these guys perform better. We've had some really tough defensive-minded series in this playoffs which have rendered this guys pretty much useless to us.
