I would bet dollars to donuts that Pruitt will not make the team next season.

I would bet donuts for dollars, Pruitt is on the team and Cassell is not....

what is this "next year" you speak of?  I seem to remember it being important a long time ago, but now I can't seem to wrap my mind around it

Gabe will be here.  There's a reason Danny used part of the MLE to sign him to a three year deal, and he did nothing to disappoint in the D-League.  He may not play heavy minutes, but unless he's traded, he'll almost definitely be here.

Pruitt will have a better career than BBD.

Pruitt has everything he needs to become a solid combo guard. Davis is too undersized and he has NO LIFT to his game.

It'll be exciting to watch Pruitt in the summer league this year. We'll get an idea of what he is capable of and what he can give us next year.

We're not participating in summer league this year.  We're having a free agent / rookie training camp, instead.

So for the all of the explanations of how Pruitt will play...I basically came to this comparison...

Jannero Pargo on a good day?

You know Pargo will never be starter, especially with Chris Paul starting on the team (or Rondo in this case).  He's a pure shooter (like Gabe) and can rack up the assists every now and then (which Pruitt did every once and awhile while in the D-League).

Pruitt has got a long way to go. I'm not expecting anything from him next season at the moment. We'll see what type of summer he has because right now he's not an NBA level point guard. The whole D-League experiment was a waste of time, the level of play was too low and he didn't even play the point.

There's some talent there but he's got a long long way to go. Wait and see. I wouldn't be penciling him in for a rotation spot next season yet, so much still to do first.

I think if Pruitt was more nba ready he'd help us more in the playoffs than Sam has.
Of course he isn't ready, great release, nice and athletic..just not ready confidence/head wise (yet)
I think Gabe will not only be on the team but garnering some pt NEXT year.  I see him spelling pg and sg, a lot will depend on Eddie and where he'll be(vet with value) and Tony and where he'll be (not physically) ;)
