Can you name a player besides Malone and John S. that have played for one franchise their whole carer and haven't won a championship for at least 10 years?
I know Paul will win it all this season with the celtics...
You look at guys like McGrady, Carter, Kidd, they've packed up as soon as things were going down..
I can think of Garnett and Dirk of current players, but Dirk has been on good winning team mostly
So I guess we have 2 of amerikaz most hungry players ;D
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Mailman did jump ship to LA his last year, so rule him out too.

I'll throw this out too... Ray Allen has never been a free-agent. And I believe Antoine Walker would've stayed a Celtic for life if given the chance.

Outstanding thing to see when great players stick with franchises win or lose for long periods of times, but I can't fault players like Garnett and Allen that get traded (without demanding a trade)... I think they deserve as much respect in this regard too.

Also didn't finish his career with the same team. Last two seasons with Seattle and Orlando.

Brad Daugherty - only 8 years but all with Cleveland, no championship

Dan Issel - 9 NBA years, one team, no championship, but he did play ABA ball before that. Does that count?

Reggie Lewis - only 6 years but if he didn't die he'd probably be here

Kevin Johnson sort of fits into the theme of this post, but he did play his first season in Cleveland before spending 12 in Phoenix.  But I lump him in with this more so than the guys who "jumped ship" at the end of their careers.
Yup

Elgin Baylor. Play his whole career with the Lakers and retired 9 games into the 71-72 season when they won a championship, a then record 69 games,  and 33 games in a row. He did make it to the NBA finals 8 times and lost 7 of them to the Celtics and the other one to the Knicks.

Garrity basically played only for the Magic but Schrempf and Perkins moved around a ton.

I liked Rik Smits -- he and Reggie were always fun to watch.

I would love to see the Celtics win just for our "three guys" more than for me or for the city of Boston.  It would be such a thrill for them to get that championship this year with this team together.

Tom Chambers

Chambers was on like 6 different teams.

George Gervin, if you don't count his ABA years. Oops just looked it up, last year in Chicago.

Sidney Moncrief. [dang] last year in Atlanta.

Oh. Oh. I got one. Calvin Murphy
