And why not use Eddie to replace Ray??? He is a shooting guard, so use him on his natural position and not to replace Rondo!!!

Everyone should have just stayed in the hotel.  They never even showed up.  Inexcusable in an ECF.  They were way too happy to get that one road win, we mailed in this terrible game.

You said it.  Time for the team to buckle up for Game 5 -- Pistons are going to want it BAD and the Celtics had better be ready.  If I were Doc I would have given Eddie House some minutes to try to kindle a little offense.... oh well.  Also, I love that Powe didn't play (the last 3 minutes just dont count, period).
Celtics fan for life.

its not we lose. its HOW we lose.
our 15(ray)-16(pierce)&20(garnett) million dollar players look clueless. Garnett not going to the Post. Ray just making it rain bricks and Pierce with his dumb turnovers.

Now im concerned. Detriot has already beat us on the road.
and now the pressure is on us since we apparently are back on our road losing streak.

Well the Maxiell block is already all over youtube.  I hope KG watches it 1,000,000 times before Wednesday night.  Then when he headbutts the hoop before the game the hoop will collapse like Shaq was dunking on it.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Well, from the bright side we had no offense tonight (and not much defense as well) and despite of that we were in the game until the final quarter...besides, if we cannot defeat Detroit at home with Chauncey playing visibly hurt, we do not deserve another banner...

Regarding Powe not playing, and I am not saying he would be making a big difference in this series, does Glen Davis have the record yet for number of shots getting blocked in the playoffs?  I honestly have never seen anything like it, yet Doc continues to use him -- I know, I know, he is so much better than Powe on the defensive rotations.

Celtics are going to want it to. We all know though how Detroit plays after they win one. Sadly, about the same as the Celtics have played. Its the only consistent thing to be found in this series.

Thank god for the refs otherwise we lose by at least 45.

What I saw out of the Big Three in the second half was embarassing. No one wanted to step up and take the shot. All three and Rondo were passing up open layups to try to pass. KG should have taken over in the paint in  the fourth of that game and he did everything he could to shoot outside and pass out of the low post.

Yeah, really NO PRIDE tonight.

Game 5 is the turning point of this series.  The Celts need to attack the basket. No hesitations please when the Celts are open - especially Rondo.
Can't Doc find/create offensive patterns where players like Ray Allen and Posey can be set-up in their comfort zones.  LAL has that kind of plays for players like Vujacic, Fisher, Radmanovic and Odom.  Why does it always have to be the players who are handling the ball who should create for their own shots?  I haven't seen any Celtics play since the postseason started where players like Ray Allen, House and Posey don't get really open shots.

We better win next game convincingly or bye-bye for this season. Detroit don't care where the playing court is, they just play to win whether on the road or at home.

They havem't played any better then the Celtics have this series which is why it is tied. Celtics just have to win. That is the only thing that counts.

Up until tonight I had given Doc the benefit of the doubt for the most part. But after seeing how our offense played when sam was in the first half
only to see him in the second made me wonder if all the doc haters were right. What the hell were you thinking doc? This is a tired topic, but seriously this guy can't coach his way out of a t-shirt. We made a run in the first, it dies when sam comes in, by luck we limp in down by four to the half, and then genius plays him huge minutes. I'm so p---ed I cant even be coherent right now. WHY CAN YOU NOT GAME PLANE AND TAKE CONTROL OF A SERIES? If he's not fired after the playoffs, then ainge is back to zero as far as I'm concerned. WIth this roster, anyone with a half of brain should be able to coach this team. 3 that 3 friggn hof on your team and you cant get decent plays called to get them going.

and what, your were happy that you were down 4 going into the half you twit. Your team played like a bunch of girls out there to start the game, you should have been po'd big time. But hey, at least the guys like me, right.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Wow.... what are the chances that all 3 of the Big 3 stunk it up on the same night.........

I don't know why Doc didn't go with TA tonight in place of Ray..... Ray wasn't giving us anything on offense or defense ( and missing 2 free throws at the end didn't help ).... at least TA would have given us good defense on Rip.....

I would agree that House should be playing..... have Pierce bring the ball up if you don't have confidence in House bringing the ball up.....

Sam Cassell..... man, what a bad pickup..... we're down 6 and he comes down and jacks up a 3 pointer with 20 seconds left on the clock.... and the commentators say " Where did that shot come from?"........

Man, I don't know about you guys but I'm sick of these best of 3 series cause I know eventually we'll be on the short end......

These playoffs have shown a few things:  Ray's career is definately on the downturn... he can't even hit open shots anymore...... Rondo is too young to lead a team to the championship cause he's too inconsistent..... Doc has the worst offensive schemes....

Thats what I'm trying to figure out. Why can other teams get there stars open, but we can't? With 3 all stars it shouldn't be a problem....Oh wait, we have a guy more interested in teaching us tribal language instead of drawing up plays.

The sad thing is, we are stuck with Doc again next year, since he has done a great job in getting them to the ECF with those 7-game series wins over Atlanta and Cleveland.  Doc's going nowhere.
