I'm really glad we decided to yank House out of the rotation again and give all of his minutes to Cassell because he was whining about not playing.

I can't believe we're still in this game.

I think his defense on Hamilton has been weak and I hate how we are watering down our expectations of Ray. He can't make ANY jumpers right now.

Plenty of time on the clock. C's can still win this. The only need to outplay Detroit for 4 minutes of these 48.

Reverse pyschology. Look about 5 pages back.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

You cannot underestimate what fatigue and the crowd has been doing to our team tonight, i find this a valient effort tonight, we have been slaugthered on the offensive end, we knew droughts would be there especialy when we are playing so many games..

We are still in this this far down the stretch when Detroit is playing better, thats all we can ask about when our team is playing on one of the most hostile places possible!
"Leadership is diving for a loose ball, getting the crowd involved, getting other players involved. It`s being able to take it as well as dish it out. That`s the only way you`re going to get respect from the players"

Were they fatigued at the beginning during that 10-0 start?  Was the crowd really a factor in that first quarter?  Are they not used to every playoff home crowd being extremely loud at the beginning of games?
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."
