I'm hoping for the Celtics to pull a Memorial Day Massacre on the Pistons for Game 4.  How sweet it would be! ;D

For those who don't know: The previous Memorial Day Massacre was Game 1 of the 1985 Finals against the Los Angeles Fakers.  The C's were up by 30+ at the half, and won by 34.  Celtic reserve, Scott Wedman, a pure shooter, shot a perfect 11 from 11 from the field.  Danny Ainge had 15 in the first quarter.

BTW, Posey played great tonight.  A ton of timely plays.  Loved him getting the charge call against Hunter at the end of the first half.

  • Yup
A great win for the C's, but the Lakers had too much for the C's that year.
Yup

Yeah, I remember it well!! I also remember Bird having a pretty bad shooting percentage that series because he was in bar fight taking up for a friend of his. I admire Bird taking up for his friend but if Bird hadn't been in the bar fight I think we would have won it again that year. He just wasn't the same shooting the ball until the next season after he had healed completely from being in the fight.
