Nice to see a game where the teams and players don't feel the need to humiliate each other.  Much more fun to watch than someone like Al Horford running his mouth and beating his chest.

Great game from KG. I'd say 26 on 11/17 shooting with 9 boards and 4 assists, plus great D is pretty clutch. Wonder what Simmons thinks?

Nice to see Paul continue his good play from game 7.

Also Rondo had a sweet game.

not to sound overconfident, but the cav's played the celtics tougher than detroit did has...but it's a long series.  game 2 should be tougher, but detroit looked lethargic tonight.

Rondo's line: 11pts, 7assists, 5steals, 1 TO.  This playoff run will turn him into an outside shooting threat yet.

Very strange game.  Totally lacking the intensity of the Cavs series.  Hope Detroit keeps on snoozin'.

Celts played a really nice game and took advantage of said lethargy.

I was happy with all five starters.

Ray's shot may still be missing, but he took it to the hoop and played good team defense. 


Perkin and KG did a great job defensively.  Wallace couldn't get his shot to fall off either of them (with the exception of the one drive)  McDyss got the open shots tonight.  He made them tonight, and the Piston's lost.  Can he stay hot all series?

Rondo was every where like a gnat on defense. 


Pierce was awesome when he got drove and got within 12 feet of the basket. 



Billups is definitely a shell right now.

i met a guy in college years ago who could imitate the scene when mickey died and rocky was mumbling a bunch of stuff over his corpse...it was classic and always made us laugh.  he was so intense, when he got finished his face was red and he usually needed a tylenol.
