In the Cavs series I felt that Lebron got the star treatment that I haven't seen since the Jordan days. Everytime anyone got within five feet of LBJ it was a foul (this might have had something to do with his soccer like acting every time someone came close). It seems that the NBA is trying to market him as the face of the league and will do anything to increase his output.
Anyway my point is that the officiating should be more equal against Detroit. Detroit have a very good well rounded team, with no real superstars we won't have to worry about the refs pulling this stuff in the ECF.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

the pistons have been getting all the calls for 20 years, i see no reason it will stop this series.

the pistons flop, they grab, they hold, they live under the motto that fouls cannot be called ov every play. maxiell is a thug, billups and hamilton dribble, dribble, dribble, then lean into the defender and act as though they got hit, and go to the line. they also react with absolute disbelief on every whistle that goes against them. The C's, and more specifically Doc better let the refs know early on that we are not here to be treated as second fiddle just because we have not been in this posisiton a ton.

this series will be reffed poorly because refs in the nba are bad at their jobs. will we get a fair shake? i doubt it. it will be different from last series because the cavs have the one guy you have to worry about; the pistons have established an identuty and for years have gotten away with murder. they know how to play the ref game better than anyone. we shall see but i have besically zero  faith in nba refs.
"Maybe now you'll never slime a guy with a positron collider, huh?"

I expect the Celts to get the preponderance of calls in this series because the NBA will (should) want Boston vs LA in the finals.

The ratings for San Antonio or New Orleans vs Detroit would be tiny compared to a Bos-LA series.
