The time has come for Jesus to be resurrected.  Ray Allen is  the player on the Celtics who if he went off for 35+ points I wouldn't be surprised.  He's a natural scorer, who hasn't had it going lately.  That's going to change in Cleveland.  I predict a big game from him.

The Celtics want to stay out of early foul trouble, because if the bench shows any signs of struggling on the road bring in the starters.  Doc should just pretend that he is K.C. Jones and it is the 1986-1987 season, and run the starters as much as possible.  He rested during the regular season just so he could run'em now.

The King Must Die, and Friday night he and the rest of his court will.

Ray Allen is due, yes. That would be fun to watch him go off like that. I also think if Paul Pierce steps up, gets to the line like he did in Game 5, Celtics can win game 6. One of those players having a huge night should give the defense more confidence on the road that they can actually win this game and get fouls in the other direction, loosening up the Cavs D as the night goes on. Garnett always shows up so it has to be one of the other two.

At this point, it would be a shocker if Ray through in 35.  His last outrageous outburst of offense was the 4th quarter of the All Star game.  He's had some nice games, don't get me wrong, but the sustained offensive outburst has been largely absent for a long, long time (feb. 20 vs GS he had 32)
Yup

Celtics can do it.

Celtics can be the 2nd team to win on the road in the 2nd round.

Celtics can be the 2nd team to move on to the next round.

Go Celtics Go!

I can't wait.

I think Cleveland has taken their best shot at Boston and Boston is still standing, sort of like Rocky telling Clubber Lang that he's not so bad and to hit him again.

Cleveland has raced to a very nice to commanding lead in 4 of the five games played and was only able to win two of those games. The Celtics are due for a big, hot 1st quarter and this time there will be no letting down or allowing of Cleveland to fight back.

Doc has seen what playing his starters big minutes can accomplish and expect to see Pierce on LeBron for a good 38-42 minutes of the game, Rondo doing what he does best against a depleted Cleveland PG position for 40 minutes, and KG getting a couple of 4-5 minute breaks each half. All three are primed once again for another great game and if some of the extra parts like Posey, Perk, Ray Allen, Powe, and Brown can just be their normal selves, this could be an easy walkaway victory.

Problem is I'm starting to feel like the surrounding support around Rondo, Pierce, and KG are having trouble getting it into gear in this series.

So I'm expecting a pretty close game but with the C's pulling it out and once again being the gentlemen that they are and extending a team-wide handshake to the Cavs.

I said before the series started that it would be Celtics in six with the C's clinching in Cleveland. I can't say that I'm all that surprised with the home team wins throughout this series. But the Celtics are just in an upper echilon that the Cavs just are not in.

BTW, don't expect LeBron to go quietly. Another 30 point, 9 rebound, 9 assist game is quite easily obtainable for LeBron.

Although I've felt this way before...and although I have no idea why....I fell in my heart that the C's will win their first road game tonight.  Its time for them to be the team we saw all season long and in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of game 5.  Lets Go Celtics (clap, clap, clap clap calp)!!

Same here.

Call it an epiphany (a lot of them on Celticsblog in the last days^^), but I`m absolutely certain they`ll win this road game.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I feel the same way I've felt before each road game so far (with the possible exception of Game 3 vs. Cle).  The Celts are the better team and I am confident they will win.
