I think Cleveland has taken their best shot at Boston and Boston is still standing, sort of like Rocky telling Clubber Lang that he's not so bad and to hit him again.
Cleveland has raced to a very nice to commanding lead in 4 of the five games played and was only able to win two of those games. The Celtics are due for a big, hot 1st quarter and this time there will be no letting down or allowing of Cleveland to fight back.
Doc has seen what playing his starters big minutes can accomplish and expect to see Pierce on LeBron for a good 38-42 minutes of the game, Rondo doing what he does best against a depleted Cleveland PG position for 40 minutes, and KG getting a couple of 4-5 minute breaks each half. All three are primed once again for another great game and if some of the extra parts like Posey, Perk, Ray Allen, Powe, and Brown can just be their normal selves, this could be an easy walkaway victory.
Problem is I'm starting to feel like the surrounding support around Rondo, Pierce, and KG are having trouble getting it into gear in this series.
So I'm expecting a pretty close game but with the C's pulling it out and once again being the gentlemen that they are and extending a team-wide handshake to the Cavs.
I said before the series started that it would be Celtics in six with the C's clinching in Cleveland. I can't say that I'm all that surprised with the home team wins throughout this series. But the Celtics are just in an upper echilon that the Cavs just are not in.
BTW, don't expect LeBron to go quietly. Another 30 point, 9 rebound, 9 assist game is quite easily obtainable for LeBron.
