Guess who ended the Cassell/House debate?

From Steve Bulpett in Thursday's Herald:

Quote
He’s not a member of the Big Three, the New Three or the Three Amigos. He’s not even 23.
But last night Rajon Rondo saved the Celtics season.
And he did it with a couple of 3’s.
The Celts were listing toward doom, down a dozen at the Garden as halftime neared. LeBron James had flown out of his funk with 23 points in the opening 20 minutes. Everything was going Cleveland’s way, even when Rondo wound up with the ball on the right wing with the shot clock waning. The guy the Cavaliers are essentially daring to shoot had no choice but to do so.
The shot that found only net with 2:42 left wasn’t just Rondo’s third trey of the playoffs, it was his third trey since March 8.
Then, as if to prove it wasn’t a fluke, the kid came down less than a minute later and pulled up for another 3-pointer. More net.
In the blink of a statistical anomaly, the C’s pulled their one sneaker out of the playoff grave and were on their way to cutting their deficit to three points by the break.

Rondo's threes were momentum changers, but it was the deferral of Pierce and Co. to let Rondo run the offense that extended the momentum and led to the win.

Remarkable, we found our ball movement.
In the last few minutes when the "heroes" forgot to get Rondo the ball they made four turnovers and almost blew the game.
Luckily Pierce made his freebies.
Another key to this game was Cleveland missing numerous foul shots throughout.

Can the Celtics continue their unselfish ways, overcome the plethora of fouls shots the opposition is sure to take and beat the dreaded home court advantage that seems to be looming like Godzilla on the horizon?

Justin, JB and the Duke will be on hand after Friday night's game to celebrate or start getting really worried.

We hope you will join us.

I just wanted to throw out there that the post game shows (rather than the pre game shows) are much appreciated by those of us who listen to the podcasts and not the live shows. But it's understandable that you might not want to always do post game shows after games that end at 11 or 11:30 at night...

Thanks Toine.
Our playoff schedule has been/will be, to do a pre game for home games and a post game for the roadies.
It's a bit strenuous, as you mentioned, but we like the post game format, as there is much more to talk about. The reason we don't do all post game shows is to not but heads with Celtic Pride which broadcasts after home games only.
I suppose those late times are one reason to hope the the Fakers don't reach the finals. :P
