Pierce coupled another night of excellent defense on Lebron (he got his points, but most of them came against defenders other than Pierce), with a dominant offensive second half.  All without forcing anything and playing within the flow of the game.

His outstanding game (along with a great night from Rondo and Garnett) allowed the C's to overcome a ridiculous free throw disparity and win this crucial game 5.

Hope to see more of this from everyone in Game 6.

Full Disclosure:  I am an unapologetic Paul Pierce fan.

TP for being a fan and for admitting it. Paul was great. I said in another thread that I loved his being aggressive early not so much because the teamed excelled because of it but because of the tone it set for the rest of the team. It took awhile to filter down, but I loved how the rest of the team concentrated on what they do best and didn't seem to be afraid.

The way the captain is supposed to do it.
