This is just something I thought of.

I don't really have much to add about the Cavs series that hasn't already been said, I just want to be positive.

GO CELTICS!

I happen to agree with you.  I don't care if all series go to seven games, as long as they win all their home games.  If they lose a home game, then I'm p---ed.

even if they lose a home game and head back to Cleveland down 3-2... that's the perfect time for them to finally pull out a road victory and tie the series up 3-3... then it's back to Boston for a series ending victory and a place in the NBATV catalog.

So stay positive folks.  This team will be fine.

Monday at the bar some obnoxious Cavs "fan" (I'll explain the quotes later...) was literally yelling at me that the Celtics didn't have a chance becuase they hadn't won on the road yet.  I had to point out to him that the Celtics are the only team that can actually say that if they win all their home games, they'll win a championship.

I used the quotes because, living in Ohio, I have to deal with hundreds of fake fans.  I've determined a new litmus test:

I say "OK, if you're a Cavs fan, who is Brad Dougherty?"

9/10 can't answer.

JEEEEEEEEEEZ.  It's also bad that I can name more people on the Cavs roster than their average "fan" that I've met.

Of course, not understanding the sport, or following the team, hasn't stopped every dork from trying to talk smack to me.  Sometimes I want to pull the Yankee fan thing and just count the number of championships.

/vent off ;-)

That's pretty sad, although I'm sure there's a fairly large percentage of Celtics fans who couldn't tell you who Dave Cowens is.

I liked those Cavs teams.  Craig Ehlo, Mark Price, Dougherty, Hot Rod, Larry Nance...

I'm sure there are tons of them on the LeBron bandwagon, but I've generally found Ohio sports fans to be pretty dedicated.  One of my good buddies, in the recent past, has had to tragically watch:

-- The Ohio State University lose in three consecutive championship games (Football-Basketball-Football),

-- a "You never really belonged here" sweep in the NBA Finals,

-- the Indians go up 3-1 with Sabathia taking the hill and still finding a way to lose the ALCS,

-- The Browns win 10 games for the first time in nine seasons (thirteen years since the Browns didn't exist for about three years in there) only to miss the playoffs because the Colts rested starters.
We're the ones we've been waiting for.

Derrrrrrrrrrrrrr...Just finally got the meaning of the title of this thread.

I thought the OP was going for a Paul Hardcastle-like "N-n-n-n-ninteen" sort of thing (hopefully someone gets that reference :) )
Yup

How about seven-six-four-four?  I'd feel a lot better about that.
