We're winning this game.

You called it fairweatherfan.

Big win although it was a slow start.  Rondo's couple of threes at the end of the first half were big.  The momentum carried over to the third as the team played with a lot of heart.  Props to Rondo...

Stockton feels the Celtics points are illegitimate because they're "all at the line"

but he seems to love LeBaby

So are half the cavs points then. LOL ::)

A win is a win. Doesn't matter how you get it as long as you get it.

Dick Stockton is clearly senile.

In answer to all you people who blame coaches exclusively, this game turned on a simple defensive adjustment. Run a big at LeBron in the halfcourt set at the top of the key, and disrupt him. Worked like a charm.

When this team executes - attacks the rim, moves the basketball and mans up on the defensive end - it wins. When it doesn't do those things, it loses.

Simple recipe to take on the road and finish off God and the Cadavaliers.

Gracias Scott...just couldn't get past the fact that we are simply the better team.  PS Anybody want to say "the series is over" now?  Anybody??
Bueller?

And yeah, Stockton sucks - how many calls can you miscall before they put you out to pasture?

Yeh, they relaxed at the 2 min mark. Almost cost em, but PP was money from the line. Now let's go to Cleveland, leave SamIAm in lost luggage at Logan, come out fighting like they did in the 3rd,  and get it done!

the best part about this game was the adjustment to bring the screen to Pierce with a guard instead of a big guy.  It really opened up the floor for both him and Rondo, until Paul turned into evil Paul and started turning the ball over. I'd like to see them do the same thing in game 6, Cleveland had no answer for it, although much of that was Rondo making runner after runner, what a great game for him from the 2nd quarter on

Am I really hearing people say positive things about adjustments (coaching)?

Agreed, TP...Perk setting picks was nearly useless to us, cause they'd just double the ball.  Rondo screening is MUCH more effective.  Happy overall with Doc's adjustments today, especially sitting Sam and playing Rondo all half.  Well done overall.

He was looking pretty hot in that leather coat (and by "hot", of course, I mean he had to have been sweating in that thing...didn't anyone tell him it's ok to take off his coat when he's inside?...what was he afraid someone was going to steal it off his seat if he left it there?)
Yup

Finally, the proper adjustments were made at the half, and the game was played the way it should be. This game began like the last one ended, with the same rotation, etc.. Thank God Doc made adjustments at half-time, and the team was allowed to do what they have been for the rest of the season. Great job, Doc .... you had me worried there for a while!

Well that was satisfying. Great game by Rondo and some great minutes from Big Baby. Garnett was assertive and hit the offensive glass for a change, which is nice considering he's like seven feet tall and a great rebounder. Ray still not playing all that great, but he hit a couple of big buckets and had two offensive rebounds at clutch times.

I really liked that Paul was aggressive early. At the time it seemed like he was forcing it a bit and the team did fall behind when he was taking a lot of shots, but I think the message that he was going to play his game and be the offense if he needed to be was a good one and one that eventually reached the rest of the team got. And kudos on the clutch free-throw shooting at the end.

The very end of the first half and the entire third quarter were lovely.
