First I'm not going to overlook the face that the Cs are 6-0 at home so far during these play-offs.  I'm happy that they have been able to protect home-court. Like some have said the Celtics are the only team can afford to loss all their road games but if that is the case the Celtics is the only team that can't afford to loss any home games.

Looking back at history, all the great players and teams have made there mark on the road.

Magic Johnson's sky-hook to beat Boston was in Boston.

Micheal Jordan's game winning play-off shot on Craig Ehlo was in Cleveland. His game winning championship shot on Jazz was in Utah.

Isiah Thomas droping 43 points and 8 assist on a bad ankle leading the Piston over the Lakers in the 1988 NBA finals.

Reggie Miller leading his Pacers to victory over the Knicks in MSG by scoring 8 point over an 8.9 second span wiping out a six-point Knick lead.

Lebron James just last season put on a show in game 5 vs. the Piston.

There's plenty more but my point is all the great player have made there mark on the road.  Only the GREAT ones have been able to go into someone else home and make it their own.  So far in their career Paul Pierce, KG and Ray Allen has not be able to it at moment to where their teams needed it.  At some point in these play-offs they are going to have to step up and like GREAT. At least One of them is going to have to. That might come in game 6 vs Cavs.  If it doesn't happen it would be the same old story for all three of them.

YEah.  you reinforce what kenny smith was saying yesterday on tnt . He stated not in these exact words but the celtics are missing that one player that can take them over the top. Forget about timeouts, plays, getting the best avail shot. Its about that one guy who can pour in 40 points and carry your team on the road and the celtics don't have that guy. He was suppose to be paul pierce
