we need to develop our 3pt game (once again)...
we were one of the best in the league the whole season and for some reason it didn't carry over in the playoffs...
in yesterday's game(4) it was most obvious...get Eddie 5-10 minutes!!!!!
the other key as I have said over and over again is the rotation...it's just terrible
the guys who have been in regular rotation during the season now don't play at all, the bench chemistry is zero
what doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Three pointers dont make a series and won't get you far in the playoffs. Those Celtic playoff teams in early 2000 live and died by the three and it was a joke, making more deep shots is not a key to a serious. The real key(s) to the series
1. Getting good shots, not threes, Tommy says it all the time, how he won a championship based on fast breaking and getting layups
2. Shutdown the players around Lebron, you cant stop him all the the time cus he creates offense for his teammates, but if you can affect them enough and make him do it all on his own, which is pretty tough. You cant have Delonte scoring 21 and Wally nailing 3's.
3 More Rondo less Cassell, Rondo makes things happen and runs the offense. It takes Cassell ten secs to get above the key and Gibson ran circles around him.
4 Find that Intensity on the road, that you have at home, its like 2 different teams and you can just tell by there body language. I need Garnett to get back to his oldself last to games hes been laxing on the defense and not being agressive going to the hole

The Celtics road offense and crunch time offense is miserable.  They can't convert defensive stops, which then makes it harder to play good defense next time.  If the Celtics offense was actually clicking on the road, it would help the defense as well.

they are claughing the middle and we cant get any easy points, make good passes etc..
if we prove we can shoot 40-45% from outside that would change...

Key to the series?

Put KG in the high post and run the offense thru him.

1. Play Eddie House, Rondo can't get it done and neither can Cassell. House is the answer.
2. Tell Pierce to step up (hopefully his back isn't still hurting him). We knew KG had a tendency to fold in the 4th quarter, and Allen just couldn't carry us. Pierce is the one who has to take over in the 4th, get into the lane. We need to pretend like it's 2002 again (or 03, 04, 05, 06, 07) and feed it to Pierce and let him make something out of it. He hasn't been playing great recently, his shot's been off and he's been reluctant to take it strong to the hole, but I'm fairly confident that he can get out of this slump with a big game in Game 5.

I really cant see how anyone seriously could say eddie house is the key to this series. Hes not even a true point gaurd and has no handle, if delonte pressured him 3/4 of the court we wouldnt be able to get into the offense and he would have 12 turnovers. Telling Pierce to step up in the 4th isnt smart either, I remember a few years ago alot of people in Boston Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing about Pierce taking shots in the clutch and saying he shouldof passed it to Ricky Davis  or Toine. Now you want him to take over in the forth when he does havent to not only because of KG or Allen, but feel Rondo can contribute also.

It makes plenty of sense that Eddie House isnt playing, ITS THE PLAYOFFS, every team shortens their rotation to 7 or 8 at the most 9. If every game is a must win you cant bother with trying to make time for every player, its the NBA not rec ball. You need to keep your best 8 players on the floor, watch any game tonight and see how many players come of the bench. So we were all a little lost when Big Baby found his way to the floor last night.

Key to the series? Huge defense, attack the basket, pass the ball, and play as a team ... all the things that got us here. No secret weapons, no magic bullets ... just good ol' Basketball 101.
