Summing up the half:

Rondo -- terrible
Cassell -- terrible
Allen -- horrendous

Free throws are killing us.  How the heck did we get in the penalty so fast?

It's only 12 free throws for them and 2 for us.  Seriously guys, is Ray done?  He has been beyond horrendous in this series.

He could be an excellent 6 man?

It's pretty obvious that Rondo is being exposed in this series.  I'm not dogging him because he is talented.  But teams are basically leaving him alone on offense.  Thank goodness for Cassell.  We wouldn't have a very good chance without him.

Doc could counter with House? But we'd have to explain to Doc what an adjustment is. No one has that amount of time.
House is not a PG and he would get eaten alive in the playoffs.  That is why we needed Cassell.

until they can win on the road we are all going to extremely frustrated -- and unless they win on the road they are not going much further.

simply amazing

You are 100 percent correct.  If they get by Cleveland they will never get by the Pistons unless they prove they can win one on the road.  Just the worst half of basketball they have played all year.  The playoffs is probably not the right time to do that.

On another note -- with the point guards sucking so bad, wouldn't it have been a good time to insert Eddie House into the game in that first half?

What's up with Pierce?  Only one shot inside the arc?  We need to take the ball inside.

Actually, I think Eddie should be given a chance ... his energy may be just what we need, and it's a bit of a slight to not use someone who has been big for us all year.

Roy, that is what is boggling my mind about this team.  Why the hell do they get so stupid on the road?  It really is incredible how dumb they are playing.

I like Cassell a lot. But I also like House better than Rondo struggling on the road. :-\

While I'm certainly not happy with their play, if you take away a couple of bad calls and a couple of lucky Cleveland bounces, and this is a single digit game.  The second half could be a different story.

Man, Cleveland was just begging the C's to make a run there, and we couldn't cut in the last few minutes.  Rondo's been useless, and so has Sam.  Not sure where you turn there.  Pierce had a good half I thought.

Still winnable.

Yup

Why doesnt Doc try PP at Sg on World.  PP gets the edge on Wally and rounds off the size advantage CL has. Ray is getting crowded on the perimeter and clobbered in the paint. Need some Tony time as well.
