T-Mac vs D-Wade in 2010/11

Rajon could very well make that much money.  He has more natural athleticism than anybody else on the Celtics, and he's extremely intelligent.  It's a bit of a long shot, but I wouldn't be all that surprised if Rondo reached CP3's level - you'd give some offensive productivity with Rondo, but you'd also have a significantly better defender.  Chris Paul can pretend to be good because he preys on passing lanes, takes a lot of gambles and gets lucky.  He's not an exceptional on-the-ball defender.

That said, I wouldn't take T-Mac or D-Wade.  Dwyane Wade can't shed the injuries, and T-Mac has an allergy to winning when it matters.  KG, Paul and Ray had all taken their teams to the Finals... Mac hasn't made it out of the first round, if I remember correctly.

i love rondo, but if he makes 16 million a year per at the age of 24, danny should be fired.

at 24, he should get a 6-8 mill per deal max. 16 is superstar money, not very good prospect PG money.

if rondo's worth a near max deal in 2 years, if im tony parker or CP3, or darren willams, i offically sit out the season till my team GM has a brain anyrism too.

16+ deals are reserved for kobe, lebron, and 28 year old superstars, your first big contrct is ussaly in the 6-8 range as a promising young star.

Hopefully we will still have Rondo.  I would much rather have him then Devin Harris.

I was thinking more in terms of the 2g spot,if Ray retired or got traded by then.

I like Harris ... great ball player. He's certainly capable of playing shooting guard, but I would imagine he'd rather be a starting point. Interesting proposal, though! TP

exactly my point Bahku,he is interchangeable.Rondo  plays the pt majority of the time.Say we get in a situation,like we did this year,in need of a backup pg.Harris would be here to play the 2,and back up at the pt when needed.I imagine we will have someone else at the 2 as well.But i think you wouldn't lose a lot when he is subing for Rondo.Look what happen this season,House couldn't effectively run the pt consistently,and TA is not a pt either,but both were expected at times to fill the spot.So we went after Sam in midstream of the season.Why not find someone,young enough still,and athletic enough to possibly play both positions efffectively.
