I put a decent amount of time into this piece and did a little bit of research to make sure my facts were straight. My latest article is about Sebastian Telfair, and it is called "Not A Finished Product." It takes you from his high school hype to the conclusion of this season, and basically sends the message that he isn't, just what the title states, a finished product.

You can check it out here. Your thoughts on my writing and your opinion of it all is appreciated.

I also made a quick little article discussing Ryan Gomes and his future, which you can check out here.

Do you think there'll be much free agent interest in Gomes?

I wouldn't pay him any substantial money. If I'm the Wolves I show him the door unless he signs for about 2mil a year which I can't see him doing.

I think Gomes' contract will hover around the mid-level. Maybe not all of it, but I think around $4 million per year or so.

Would you pay him that?

If they draft a big, or if they don't draft a big if it's dependant on that?

I wouldn't pay him that period. Too much money for too little value.

a contending team looking for a good 7th or 8th man will, he was quite productive this year.

but if im MINN i don't pay it, he's not going to help you as a starter.

I pretty much agree, to and extent. If I'm Minnesota next season, especially if they land Beasley, I'm hesitant to throw him the $4+ million/year he'll want. On the other hand, however, like I put at the end of my article - Gomes is one of the only forms of stability that entire roster has. Keeping him around would be beneficial, and $4 million per year or so is not a big salary hit to boot.

If I'm a contending veteran team looking to solidify my lineup and spend my MLE to bring in a quality role player or two, then yes. I give Gomes those type of dollars without hesitation.

Absolutely not.

I guess I'm never going to understand - especially since their departure led to one of the best seasons in Celtics history - this odd attachment to the players that dragged our franchise to the bottom of the league.

It's like the Gerald Green obsession. I don't want to see them in Green - ever again.
