Just went on 82games.com and found something interesting. This whole series, although our offense has been much less than desirable, I've really felt like it's the defense that's let us down on the road. Sure, someone should be dominating on the offensive end at the end of games, but I've also felt like that has never been our M.O. We are a defensive team, and by that, we've been able to get stops down the stretch of games, not neccessarily put teams away in shoot-outs. So anways, back to 82games.com. In terms of team clutch stats, "4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points", we were 6th from the bottom throughout the season, the worst rating for any title contender. The only team in the playoffs worse than us? Atlanta. So, I guess that my point is, we've never been great at execution down the stretch in close games, but neither has Atlanta. But for some reason, in this series, I feel like our D has been lacking on the road, and Atlanta has been able to outperform us as a result of that. Now maybe this whole clutch stat thing is B.S. and skewed because of our large margin of blowout wins, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.

Interesting.

BTW, love the name!  DingDongDel was one of Tommy's finest.  Right up there with Bing Bang Barros.
