Forget about worrying about Garnet making power moves on the box.  It just isn't a strong part of his game.  Go back to the turnaround fade away and the face-up 17 footer.

Pierce taking the ball to the hoop and posting up his man.

Playing strong team defense without crazy double teaming and leaving everyone else on the team open for 12 footers.  If one man can beat us by himself then so be it.

Forget the Rondo and Perk are young.  So are the Hawks.  Leave them in the game and let them play.  Atlanta is young too and the don't seem to have a problem with playing their kids big minutes.  They are the best we have at their positions and their minutes should reflect that.  I seriously think if Doc had of been coaching Bird as a rookie he would have sat him half the game.  Doc has some brain lock on this issue and nothing will change his mind, except the fact he will be sitting with Charles Barkley next year if he doesn't see the light soon.

Unless Sam has incriminating pictures of Doc then the bench is the best place for him.  Bench players Posey, Powe and next series God willing add Tony Allen and House (not yet though because they are in deep freeze.)

Find another stopper for the small forwards besides Ray Allen, he isn't a young man and certainly not Kobe who has the energy for both ends.  It is only going to impact his offense and have no positive impact on the defensive end. 

Find a way to become a transition team again.  All year Rondo is expected to push the ball on every occasion.  I understand the playoffs are more a half court game, but it doesn't hurt to advance it quickly, it doesn't mean we have to shoot it quickly.  At the minimum we would have more time to run a play.  Oldie but a goodie... "You gotta dance with what brought you there"

Don't be afraid to step on the other teams throat when you have them down.   We are subbing ourselves out of leads.  If we go into game seven and try to save our players for the next round everyone is going to have plenty of time to play golf. 

If what we are playing our normal style and our best players isn't good enough then we should be going on vacation anyway, but it is time to find out.

agreed as the big dog in the fight you need to dictate what's going to happen, be dominant at what you do well - hide your weaknesses, and take them out of it mentally, make them question if they can... I want to see Solomon Jones and Gabe Pruitt in this game, playing garbage minutes b/c the Hawks couldn't keep up
