No suspensions were handed out following Monday's Game 5 between the Celtics and Hawks. Kevin Garnett shoved a referee and both Perkins and Williams came off the bench during the brief skirmish.

David Stern was at this game, but the league was unusually lenient considering what happened to the Suns in a similar situation last year.

Great news.  No excuses now boys, let's go out and get it done.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

After last years suns/spurs series this would have been another travesty for the nba playoffs, happy that we'll get a fair shot at em tomorrow

I predict that Big Baby will get into a fight with one of their star players.  Baby knows his role and if Zsa Zsa tried to fight KG then Baby will do the same with Horford.

Good move by Stern and the NBA (Did I just say that? I feel dirty).
I think had they given suspensions it would just lead to more confrontations on the court. Somebody might sucker punch Lebron or drive a car into Kobe when his back was turned so he doesn't have time to jump over it.) ;)

Shoot, why Horford?  Shoot the moon, go for Johnson or Smith. Then send TA after Horford.

(and no, I don't think they should, nor need, to do this)

It is getting to a point where both teams might have to forfeit games because there are so many suspensions if they did it to the 'letter of the law'.  ;D

first of all, baby wont even see the minutes probably, second of all if anyone is going to fight lets all be honest and say who it is cuz we all really know.....
Its Perk, we saw him do it too bibby in game 2 (2 fouls in first quarter on bibby) and he always plays emotional trying to protect his teammates and being mean.
