Plus you can't overlook the play of Josh Childress.
I am officially a Josh Childress fan.  He's been good every game.

I'm really digging Childress's game. He plays within himself. Also interesting to note that both Josh Childress and Josh Smith are restricted free agents this summer. Hello payday!!!

In another thread I started that was deleted for some reason. I pointed out have Mike Woodson is using Childress to guard Rondo with allows the Hawks to double KG with a bigger guy.  Which is the Hawks way of letting Rondo beat them.  Rondo has like 17 shot attemps last night.  Now Doc finally got it toward the end of the 4th and brought in Eddie House to spread the court but by that time it was too late.  Now the Hawks did this for most of the game.  House should have been in the game a long time ago over the likes of Sam Cassell.  No wonder Eddie is p--- at Doc right now.  Doc doesn't know how to coach.

Kent Brockman: So, professor, would you say it's time for everyone to panic?

Professor: Yes I would, Kent.

What happen to my Doc Rivers being Out Coached by Mike Woodson thread?  Can anyone explain it to me?  Was I wrong by what I said?

I believe it was merged with the "Will Doc ever coach a team out of the first round?" thread.

Ok thanks Donoghus.

Childress has been playing the backup point since the Bibby trade. They've no other bodies there that can dribble the ball without scraring the life out of Woodson (yes Salim Stoudamire, I'm talking about you).

It protects Childress some too. He's a weak defender but his length allows him do some things to point guards defensively. Every single point guard he's ever defended follows the same pattern - back off as much as you can get away with, try not to get beat off the dribble, use your length to contest a long shot. Any time he switches to Ray Allen he gets killed on screens and Pierce kills him from the mid post. It protects him.
