And a very large thank you to all congratulating me. It's more than likely I don't have 400 TP's without all you guys and girls.

After all, I'm not a mod, my TPs just don't magically get 75 points higher overnight. ;) ;D

(That's a joke guys please don't take it seriously.)

Want some amazing news. You're math sucks!!!

You only need 38 more points.

Just think, that's almost like I just gave you 10 TPs.

"You're math sucks!!!"

I hate to be so nitpicky, but as a writer (who screws up with quite a bit of regularity), I can't help but enjoy marveling at some irony in Nick's refusal to follow the rules of grammar while dropping the hammer on another member's math.  I'm currently internally debating whether or not that was intentionally done on Nick's part just to give me a laugh... ;)

Just messing with you, Nick -- I only kid out of good ol' CB kinship  :)...and I have no doubt that I'd be in quite a bit of trouble if anyone decided to pick apart my own grammatical nonsensicalities...

Up date on TommyPointGate:

It seems we may have our first non moderator involvement in TommyPointGate. At 3:30PM on July 2, 2008 Bahku, a Celticsblog regular, had 703 Tommy Points. And although Bahku has had very little posting activity since June 27, 2008 and none since 1:30 AM of July 2, 2008, his Tommy Points have unexplainedly increased by almost 43 TPs in 3 days of non activity.

Word is now leaking out of Senator Arlen Spector's office that Mr. Bahku may join others in the long line of Celticsbloggers being brought forth to answer questions concerning this TommyPoint Gate scandal.

From the current hearings:

ELIJAH CUMMINGS: You know, I hear all of you, I'm sitting here and I'm listening and I'm trying to feel good about this hearing.

JOHN SHOVELAN: The former single season Tommy Point record holder Bahku, who's long been suspected of back atcha-ing Tommy Points, simply repeated again and again that he wouldn't talk about his past.

BAHKU: Well sir, I'm not here to talk about the past. I'm here to talk about the positive and not the negative about this issue.

CONGRESSMAN 1: You don't want to comment? Are you taking a fifth?

BAHKU: I'm not here to discuss the past, I'm here to be positive about this subject.

CONGRESSMAN 1: I'm trying to be positive, too.

BAHKU: If a blogger answers no, he simply will not be believed. If he answers yes, he risks public scorn and endless government investigations.

CONGRESSMAN 1: So once again, you don't want to comment?

BAHKU: Well sir, I'm not here to talk about the past. I'm here to talk about the future and the positive.

And so the scandal continues!!

Haha.  Interesting research, Nick.  Could we have multiple TP conspiracies in play at the same time?

Thanks, Nick -- and I'm sure my last post will come back to bite me as well the next (several) time(s) I botch something in my writing  ;)

In the meantime, may I say that I continue to find the TommyPointGate bits quite entertaining.  If only I hadn't given you a TP out of sympathy for putting up with my grammar silliness right as I finished that prior post.  Looks like I've got myself a bit of a wait here.

Yeah, it's official -- the TP powers are definitely the coolest part of mod-hood.  Even better than the ban-hammer...or at least that's how it's looking from the outside until one of our beloved regulators sets me straight on this one...

Giant Congratulations and Thank Yous for jobs well done go out to IndeedProceed, our resident beer and ale expert and of course, FLCeltsFan who I am exceedingly jealous of because of how much I want to move to Florida because I hate the freaking winter.

Seriously it's about time FL gets the TP credit she so richly deserves for her contributions here at Celticsblog. You make my sports information gathering easier than any other single person alive and since my creed is that if you save me time you get a TP, I guess I alone owe you about 200 TPs. I'll be trying to catch up as quickly as possible on that as I am in your debt.

And to IndeedProceed, the original Celticsblog game creator, a giant thanks as well. We need more of the trivia games again now that the waiting season is in full effect and we all know who the man at Celticblog is for that.
