While we wait,

wdleehi is offering both 3rd round picks.

looking for two picks (for each).  A 4th and (depending on it's location) a 5th or 6th.

Dont forget Me.

You are one of the GMs I have talked to about these picks.  While there has been no finalization on any deal, the conversation has been about a better deal then you had offered.

But I am alway willing to haggle and negotiate.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
If IP won't be here, could you help me out, Edgar?  I should have a list by 5:30 central time.

alright, well seeing as birdman is likely to use all his time, i think i'm going to have to decline all offers for my pick (3rd round - #7) due to the fact that i won't have access to a computer from 3-6.  I'd rather not trade my pick before i'm on the clock.

So who should i send my shortlist of player/s to if i can't pick? Edgar?

p.s. how much more time does birdman have?

For the record, I have decided we will be holding each years rookie drafts near or at the end of the preseason.

This will give us ample time to evaluate and scout the players, since I know everyone on here is not a hardcore basketball fan/overseas scout. It will give managers time to see how the rookies played in summer league and throughout most if not all of the preseason and see how rookies react to playing in the NBA.

You will also have 1 day until the offical start of the NBA reg season to choose who to keep and who to cut. (So after the rookie draft you do not need to make roster cuts until the day before the NBA season).

Oh yeah and also about trades. Tommy points are NOT accepted as value during a trade (I know no one has tried to offer them, but in the other league you guys did people were). Let's try and keep this about the league and not bring tommy points in to influence peoples decisions,

Moderators don't need to wait an hour to give out Tommy Points

We don't even have to wait a minute.

lol yeah that's another reason we will not be using them in this league, gives the mod's an unfair advantage.

btw I will be making jgod's pick for him if it reaches 3 pm and Birdman still hasn't picked.

Fair enough.  I offer my friendship and a big hug for an additional 3rd round pick.  Takers?

btw guys for those who didn't see it (it is burried in a 20+ page thread now) I created a new league so we can easily keep track of the best avaliable by yahoo.

league id: 113545
pass: celtics

Mods if you could put that on the front page on Edgar's post so I don't have to pm everyone that would be appreciated.

Also mod's if you could fix the draft picks on the front page, ChampKind has my 4th round pick but I still have my 5th round pick (on the front page it has me with my 4th round pick and Champkind with my 5th rounder).

Yes I know, jgod just said he won't be here from 3-6. So basacally after 3 I will make his pick for him once Birdman picks.

Actually if one of the mods could make jgod's pick for him that would be better as I am going to be playing some nba2k8 in a bit and don't want to hold this up.

(I will pm you his top 2 to whoever can).
