What possible reason does Mazzulla have Tatum in the game with a 30-point lead ?
He is returning from the achilles tear and even without that, we need to rest him all we can to protect his health and to keep him as fresh as possible for a long season and the playoffs. Plus, keep the long view in mind. We aren't winning a title this season, but we could be contenders again starting next season with the right additions to the team. If I am the coach, I am thinking in terms of those future contending seasons, not winning regular season games at the expense of Tatum's future health.
