Why go to Tatum when he's been terrible shooting?

Optimistic about Tatums playmaking. We have to hope he didn't just magically turn into a shooting pumpkin since the injury. On to the next one

Maybe Joe is the problem Brad. He's a terrible coach.

After last year's press conference I'm convinced Brad loves him AND he's fully behind the 3-point philosophy. He was asked about it point blank and he didn't really counter, he just explained it more and basically said "yeah the easy 2s are good but so are open 3s", he probably won't adapt

Issue is if they don't fall they stop playing hard and don't even try on defense. That is a coaching issue.

Yeah, Tatum was awful. Has to play better. We will get them next time.

That didn't beat them at all last season and now this. Boston is just a bunch of soft front runners.

This game shows why Tatum will never be a true leader, an alpha male of this team. His sidekicks are more often better than him.

Wow did that ever fall apart.  Was gearing up for some really excited post-game.  I missed most of the comeback - left up 22 and returned up 9.  And it was a disaster from there.

Tatum had a bunny to bring it to 4 but missed again.  What a terrible day for him. A gem from PG. Was hoping this team would be able to hold onto a third quarter 20+ lead.

One game - a disappointment, but looking forward to  game 2.

Lol. Bro. It was a single game. I guess we're discounting his entire 9 year career for the first game of the season? He had a terrible game, but let's not blow things out of proportion and be overly reactionary.

On a side note - I always find it humorous when adults use terms like "alpha male", "beta", and the like.

Garza, Walsh add zero to this team.

Hauser has been a playoff liability for years (even in 2024) and he gets picked on defensively just like the 4th quarter today. Yet he's somehow still here after all the shuffling in recent years and Mazzulla also still plays him in these moments.

Agree - JT can lead this team.  Rough shooting game but got to like the 11 assists.
